This is beautiful and wonderfully hilarious!

yep, that's how I remember school

That was hilarious, my only criticism is on your audio, there's a lot of noise.

M4Studios responds:

Thank you very much. Yeah my good mic just died so i had to record with my headset. sorry for that ^^

I love sprite fights! Backgrounds, work on them. Honestly it just looks like you've slapped your art on top of a 5 year old's finger painting. You can never go wrong with sprites but the wrong background can turn into an eyesore. I would work on that dont be afraid of asking around the forums for help on this.

AnimeBoss responds:

Lol, I understand clearly what you mean. I agree, But it's hard for me to find high quality sprite backgrounds.
//btw, didn't know much sprite animators still existed on NG. where in the forum can i find help?//

I really like it's premise! you just need to work on your VO. Don't be afraid to ask for help by our other users here on the forum or PM

2Fraimz responds:

If VO stands for "voice over", then yeah, I know it's not great. There's only so much I can do about that though... might ask other people to do voice acting for me on longer animations.

very funny, I hope to see more of you in the future

Very good usage of a gif, animation and audio sync.

Gibb50 responds:

Thanks, it was scary, making this

While I congratulate you on your creation and debut as a creator on this site, it is very important that you take your time making your content and continuously striving to improve yourself, if you are using adobe, I suggestion using their tutorial database to improve your skills. If your goal is to join strawberryclock crew then good for you for joining their troll group.

all that aside the main things I see that you sound looking into improving are:

- smoother animation. (currently it looks as if your flash was a cardboard puppet show.)

- Audio (Always check your audio levels! They don't always have to be at maximum level to be effective also there are plenty of royalty free audio sites that you can use, mainly this one. that you can use as sound fx, ambiance, VO, etc. so you don't have feel like you don't have any resources on that end and limit yourself to only one source. Inversely, you can always create your own audio. )

- Planning and directing (I suggest starting off with a story board, it can be something as simple as a four panel comic. Start off with an idea, then work your way toward how you want to accomplish your idea {characters, setting, background, narrative, personality})

- Spellcheck (self explanatory)

I'm not saying you need to be the best artist or animator to effectively tell a story or in your case a "parody" It's not what you say but how you say it.

"Parody is a kind of comedy that imitates and mocks individuals or a piece of work. However, when it mingles with satire, it makes satire more pointed and effective. Most importantly, a parody appeals to the sense of humor. Poking fun at the set ideals of society and becomes aware of the lighter side of an otherwise serious state of affairs. Thus, parody adds spice to a piece of media that keeps the people interested."

If your intention was to make a joke, you failed. At best, you made a statement. Your statement being "If I ever actually saw this bear from "Freddy's five nights" I would just beat it with a bat." I suggest looking up some of Buzzfeed's Expectations vs Reality videos on youtube. It should give a better understanding type of parody you were trying to execute.

That being said, Welcome to newgrounds I expect to see more from you and see you grow.

RB responds:

Well, except that troll part, it's kinda true. But the thing is, I'm having problems with Flash, and mic is crappy, I could do the animation properly.
And, 4 days, aren't 4 days of full time job.
Thanks for the review.

Awesome concept! Digging backstory and the voice direction for the characters. The writing really shows the characters personality. Two main concerns are that sometimes I'm not sure if the guy with the hat is a hillbilly or native american sometimes the accents change between the two. Second, is the audio mixing. I'm through computer speakers you don't hear anything but with headphones there is a high end hiss whenever anyone is speaking. look into mixing your audio better.

great short animation! the voices come out very clearly which is awesome but they need a bit more inflection in them. It sounds universally monotone. A little voice direction goes a long way
