Ok Time to explain myself to the masses!
First off My song was not at all in anyway shape or form inspired by Final Fantasy, or james bond for that mattter.
yea it's nice that you all think that my song should belong in a game or something, but seriously man it's annoying to have everyone join the "It sounds like vincents theme" bandwagon, because I myself have reviewed this song and it really does not sound anything at all like my song, well it might to the untrained musicians ear, but it really doesn't sound like my song at all, first off we have two different chord progressions in the intro
also there are a few people out there who think I should add a bit more content into the song by adding vocals or guitars, honestly I'm down to try it, but I did originally make this a piano song , so guitars and vocal weren't the first things on my mind, but if anyone has an idea for me I'd be glad to try it.
------------
The idea for this song was actually inspired by megadeth's Hanger 18.
the rest of the song sorta flowed from the 3 chords that I initially used, The end how-ever was inspired by Symphony-X I was listining to them before I fell asleep one day and the outro hit me when I awoke.
I was feeling a bit cynical when I wrote the song, and I was going to make it into the most brutal piano song ever to be made, but then... I don't know I decieded to stop being so damn deppressed and the direction of the song changed. Still, I did try to keep that original feeling I had when I first started the song, but I ended on a lighter note.
OH! did I mention the original tittle for the song was God's Nightmare And The Devil's Dream?
well it was.
I went to sleep and the wierdest dream, it was actually kind of cool! I was in a cathedral made of flesh with the satanic priest praying to god while the church organs play the music of Bach and outside the sky was was crimson red with storm rain made of blood, people where walking by happily as if nothing was wrong with the world, I of course decieded to join them and pet their flesh-exposed dog, and the last thing I thought to myself was this must be what the devil dreams about and what god has nightmares to.
that was the actual pretext to my song, after that, I had decieded to make a piano song
